In mid-March, 2010, we received unfortunate news that Granny Gear canceled the 24 Hours of 9 Mile for 2010.
Upon hearing the news, TS Events made efforts hold the event in 2010, consistent with our original ten years of serving as your event promoters. Our gracious sponsors, staff, volunteers and check point teams were all on board to revive the event this summer. We further ensured the use of our shower trailer and other very important event supplies to ensure you the event experience you have becomed accustomed to enjoying.
Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain the permit from Marathon County Parks to hold the event in 2010. So it is with extreme sadness that I see this event lapse in 2010.
We are currently considering other venue options and will keep you posted on new developments.
Thank you all for making 24-9 into the largest 24 hour race in the midwest and one of the best in the country! Without you, it wouldn't have happened.
We hope to provide you the event experience you came to enjoy during the first ten years of 24-9 again soon.
